SaleDay Privacy Policy

Updated October 10, 2026

SaleDay is an independent Etsy promotion planner. This policy explains how the SaleDay Chrome extension handles information when you plan promotions, sign in, manage a subscription, or create sales on Etsy. Contact: saledaysupport@gmail.com.

Information stored in your browser

SaleDay stores promotion settings, dates, discounts, preferences, saved plans, shop information, run progress, and sale verification results in the extension’s local storage. Saved plans can be reused across shops but are not synced through your SaleDay account. A separate browser preview stores its data in that browser’s site storage.

SaleDay also stores authentication session tokens locally to keep you signed in. Signing out removes the local account session but keeps your saved plans. Removing the extension removes its local extension data; it does not delete server records or cancel a subscription.

Account and billing information

SaleDay uses Supabase to provide account authentication and store account and billing records. Email sign-up and sign-in send your email address and password to Supabase’s authentication service. Google sign-in requests basic identity information, including your email address and profile information, through Google and Supabase. SaleDay does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or Google password.

The server stores account identifiers, Stripe customer and checkout identifiers, subscription access information, and whether your free schedule has been reserved or used. To authorize and resume a sale-creation run, SaleDay sends the shop identifier, promotion month, run identifier, a fingerprint of the schedule, and completion status. The fingerprint helps bind authorization to the chosen schedule; saved-plan contents are not uploaded for account syncing.

These records support sign-in, subscription management, the one-time free schedule across shops and browser profiles, and recovery of previously authorized runs. Service providers may also process technical request information, such as IP addresses and operational logs, to operate and secure these services.

Payments

Stripe handles hosted checkout, payment details, invoices, and the billing portal. Information you enter there, including your card details, name, and billing address, is processed by Stripe. SaleDay receives billing identifiers and subscription or payment status; the extension does not collect or store your full card number or security code.

The current private test build uses Stripe sandbox payments. It does not move real money. Etsy sales created by the extension are real, even when SaleDay billing is in sandbox mode.

Etsy access

SaleDay accesses relevant Etsy shop and sales pages to identify the active shop, fill sale forms, check for existing promotions, create the sales you confirm, and verify results. The selected dates, discounts, scope, and sale names are submitted to Etsy through its normal pages using your existing Etsy session.

SaleDay does not collect your Etsy password or unrelated browsing history. It does not automatically create a schedule without your confirmation. Etsy handles the shop and sale information submitted to its service under its own privacy policy.

Sharing and limited use

SaleDay uses Google for Google sign-in, Supabase for authentication and server records, Stripe for billing, and Etsy for the sales you choose to create. If you email support, your message and any attachments are processed by the email service and used to respond to your request.

SaleDay does not sell user data, use it for personalized advertising, or include advertising trackers or analytics tracking in the extension. Information is used to provide and maintain SaleDay’s features, support users, and protect the service. Human access to user data is limited to your consent for specific support requests, necessary security investigations, legal obligations, or aggregated and anonymized internal operations.

SaleDay’s use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Information received from Google APIs is used only for the disclosed sign-in and account features.

Retention and your choices

Local plans and run records remain in your browser profile until removed. Server account, billing, run-authorization, and event-processing records are retained to operate the account, manage access, prevent repeated use of the free allowance, and support billing recovery. The current service does not automatically expire these records.

You can sign out, remove the extension, or request account-data access or deletion by emailing saledaysupport@gmail.com from the address associated with your SaleDay account. We may need to verify ownership. Records may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Third-party providers may retain records under their own policies. Cancel any subscription separately through Manage subscription; uninstalling is not cancellation.

Security and policy updates

SaleDay uses HTTPS for account and billing communications and restricts direct access to server billing records. No service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, session tokens, or full payment-card details to support.

We will update this policy when SaleDay’s data handling changes and revise the date above.
